An older, white haired man walked into a jewelry store this past Friday evening with a beautiful much younger gal at his side. He told the jeweler he was looking for a special ring for his girlfriend. The jeweler looked through his stock and brought out a $5,000 ring.

The old man said, 'No, I'd like to see something more special.'

At that statement, the jeweler went to his special stock and brought another ring over. 'Here's a stunning ring at only $40,000 the jeweler said. The lady's eyes sparkled and her whole body trembled with excitement. The old man seeing this said, 'We'll take it.'

The jeweler asked how payment would be made and the old man stated, 'by check. I know you need to make sure my check is good, so I'll write it now and you can call the bank Monday to verify the funds and I'll pick the ring up Monday afternoon.'

On Monday morning, the jeweler angrily phoned the old man and said 'There's no money in that account.'

'I know,' said the old man, 'But let me tell you about my GREAT WEEKEND!'

I love fishing

I started fishing at a very young age. My Dad was a good fisherman and he is the person that got me started and I have continued for more than fifty years I do all kind of different application of fishing mainly in fresh water but I also fish in saltwater i have grown to love all types, I belong to many clubs and love to teach young people how to catch fish. Back in the 80's I built a pond so I could learn more of the behaves of the Bass what they did where they were on certain days how they feed and so on. I also do a lot of stream fishing not for the stocked fish but for the native fish in the streams around me .
I can not emphasize the important s of the gear used. The Rods, reels, the line you use for instance some Knots are very important if you don't use the right line to tie on that favorite lure than you better give it a Kiss before you throw it in the water. Knot tying is an art in itself. I have learned a great deal from the articles written here. Click Here
